I decided to go with Verizon's LG ENV 9900 phone.

Bottom line: The phone stinks. The interface is terrible. Don't get one.

I'm really not that much into verizon, and I don't appreciate their assumption that every mobil user has a Kindergarten education level.

They assume that all user's are morons, and need these clunky tools..Like Get It Now! How about NOT!

So I'm trying to configure my phone for some power options.

Here goes..

Installed the VCAST Music Manager to ensure I get the good drivers..installed a ton of drivers

Fired up BitPIM..connected to the phone via serial port

Works well
